Art Exhibition on October 23rd at the Huron in Chicago was a big success

We had an excellent art exhibition on October 23rd which was a great success. Even though we did this on very short notice, we managed to draw a nice crowd of about 70-80 people, and we were lucky enough to have the Chinese artist herself attend the event. She flew in just for the event from California. She presented Feng Shui based art, which is all about the placement of colors and how to make someone feel good in their home. The art of the artist Catherine Yi-Yu Cho Woo will be exhibited until the end of November. More information can be found at our homepage: www.hiltongallery.com

15 World Most Expensive You Cannot Afford

World's 10 most expensive watches

A watch is a watch after all, you wear it to learn the time. Well, there is no doubt about that, but to some people it's more than just a 'time machine'.
You wear it to make a statement -- about your social and financial status. (quoted from below homepage)

Today

I spent some time today catching up with comments of you, my fellow readers. Hope I gave equal attention to everybody. Deleted some pictures that people did not want me to use. Over time people approached me, some said, I should not use their pictures at all, some said, use them, but do not link them, others said, use them, but only link them. So in order to keep everybody happy, I have deleted those pictures that anybody complained about.

The web is a vast resource of information and pictures. I understand and respect anyone who is contributing on the web.

I hope that I will be able to find many more interesting links, pictures, and watches in the coming time.

Thank you for reading my blog. Let me know if you have ideas, suggestions for improvement, or any other comments.

This is a very interesting site on the Rolex Submariner 5514. Even though the watch looks like a 5513, it has pretty much nothing in common with a 5513:

Some thoughts on watches and collecting them

Over the past 8 years I have been collecting primarily vintage watches. It is a great hobby and it is a lot of fun and very exciting.

I started this blog and my idea behind this blog was to offer a means of helping people who like watches to find condensed information here. I have collected many links over the years and I wanted to bring them all to one place: my blog. Here I am. I like my blog to be educational. I am linking to a lot of other people's website, and hope that they do not mind. If anyone does, just contact me and I will take out your link. At times I am using photographs of other people, if you own any right to them and do not want the photographs presented here, let me know, and I will take it off.

Meanwhile, I hope that visitors of my blog are enjoying the wealth of information. I have been thinking about how I can improve my presentation and would be greatful for any advice. Enjoy.
